Today's the Day . . .

. . . Kenners goes in for her Frenectomy {that's where they remove extra tissue from under her tongue that is keeping her from being able to use her tongue correctly ~ just in case you haven't been following ;) }.

She's a little nervous. I'm a little nervous. But we all know that this is a good thing :)

Our plans for after surgery? Kickin' it at home, on the couch, with the multiple containers of pudding, jell-o, ice cream, and popsicles we purchased yesterday :) And watching a whole lotta movies. I'm expecting to gain a few pounds.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!!!

My son had that done when he was 2 and it was so worth it, he is now 5. He still takes speech from a speech therapist but, is doing so much better, he couldn't form words or anything now we he talks non stop and we undertand everything!!!! Praying for a quick recovery time.

So sorry that I didn't post this morning as I read this right when I woke up this morning. I thought I did :( Anyway, please know that many prayers went up for both Kenners and Mommy!

I hope the surgery was successful, with minimal pain and recovery time and that it will enable her to continue with her speech development at lightening speed!

Can't wait to read an update and I wish you all lots of rest as she recovers :)
