Pampering Party

 

 Last weekend, the celebration for Kam continued with a little Spa get-together with a couple of her closest friends.

 

 

It was a little chaotic, having just gotten home from our trip, but we threw some decorations up, and got ready to party!

 Ahhhhhhh!  This melts my heart.  Seeing these sweet girls together is such a blessing.

We had four different stations:

One for her hair 'dos
One for manicures
One for facials
and
One for making your own lotion

{Taylor's lotion was a special creation of about every essential oil I own . . . yeahhhhhhh. That was a fun smell.}
 

 

And these two sissies gettin' their hair did.
Aren't they the sweetest??

 

 

Okay. Stop.
Can we talk about the cuteness of this little peanut??  What a doll baby!

 

 

 

 And later in the evening, we had Grandmas and Grandpas over for cake and ice cream, and singing, and presents.

A pretty wonderful day, I'd say!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Birthday Partyin' Great Wolf Lodge Style

 We woke up on Kam's birthday to fresh donuts that Daddy brought home . . .

 

 

 

 . . . and a little surprise for the girlies:
 

 

We didn't tell the big girls about our trip until about an hour before we were to leave,
and we didn't tell the little girls until we pulled in to the parking lot!

Miss Kam was such a trooper.




It was her birthday day, and instead of celebration and fun, she was told she'd have to run errands with us all day.  When we stopped for lunch at Shari's along the way, she exclaimed,
"This is the BEST birthday ever!" 
Little did she know what was to come!
 

   

We swam and played until waaaaaay after dark.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 and were so sad to have to head home in the morning.  

 

 

 

 But we'll be back!
