Here & There

We've been on the go a lot lately {which suits Miss Kameryn just fine}. On Monday night we had a hankerin' for Mexican food, yum!

We had a bit of shopping to do, so on Tuesday we made the trip into town. The girls could have stayed at Old Navy all day browsing the jewelry.

I may or may not have purchased a new pair of shoes ;) I won't tell you how long it's been since I've bought shoes.

Watching Kam with the "Modelquins" cracked.me.up! She just stared like "what the heck is up with these people, Mom? They don't even blink!"

The best part of the day? We met up with my older sister, Heidi, for a quick visit and birthday hugs.

After a long shopping day we rushed to Sierra's final dance class before we break for Summer. Tomorrow is the big recital!

Other activities that have been keeping us busy this week? Makenna's last tap class was Wednesday night, and framing of the house has started. YAY!

And today, after my dr.'s appointment, we met my dad for lunch at Lil Cooperstown. It was delish. Out to eat twice in one week? I could get used to this!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What about y'all? What have you been up to? Relaxing? Enjoying summer vacay?
I'm going to be honest, I'm kind of having a sad day :( Without going into a lot of detail, I think I may have opened my mouth too soon {and without thinking}, and hurt the feelings of a couple of very special people. Ugh. Not a great feeling. It's like, I see their side, but I see my side too. Does that make sense? Anyway.
Oh yeah, and if that weren't enough, I lost two blog followers today. You know what the worst part about that is? That I even care. Why does it bother me? I blog for myself. As a journal of sorts so that I can remember the day in and day out of my precious little family. But I love new friends, and when I lose one {or gosh sakes, TWO!} it makes me sad.
That's it. Whine-fest over.
I lose a follower a week it seems. Makes me very sad. I used to know who it was...now I can't tell.
I love old navy. Such a great store and your new shoes are so cute.
I could get used to eating out all the time too.
Aw, I'm sorry you're sad Liz! If I know you like I think I know you, your heart was in the right place when this misunderstanding took place. I'm sure it will all get worked out.
And I get sad too when I lose followers. It feels so personal when it happens because we lay our hearts out for anyone to read.
You need to take some pictures of the framing, I want to see it! And of course your day revolves around making me happy. :)
I know how you feel. I don't like it when people leave my blog. I take it personally, like I'm not exciting enough or something. Rest assured, I'm not goin anywhere. :)
And that's a bummer about the hurt feelings. Praying it all blows over quickly and relationships are restored.
Love those shoes....I splurge on flip flops about once every other year but I always admire cute shoes :D
Love the pic of Kam looking at the modelquins!! HILARIOUS!!
I'm sorry about you being bummed. I hope you are able to get that situation straightened out. I haven't paid much attention to the number of followers I have, but I do get an email when someone stops subscribing by email. It is kind of strange when that happens.
How fun that the framing has started! I can't wait to see it.
You are loved, and liked by many of us! Those ex followers will realize that they are missing out and come back! I too, like Old Navy. How's the house coming?
How exciting about the house! Yay!
I'm sorry you're feeling sad. I know what you mean about the followers. I've lost a few here and there and I'm always trying to figure out who it was who left but of course I can't. But it's okay because I've met tons of bloggers who have become great friends...and they're still here!
Hope you have a great weekend and you're cheery again soon!
I'm always losing followers too. It is a bummer.
I'm sorry you are feeling sad. It's hard when you feel that upset feeling that things aren't right with someone you care about, even when you don't necessarily feel that you have done something wrong. I have really been experiencing that with my dealings at the school and it's tough.
I'm thinking of ya!
Oh, and LOVE me some good Mexican food!
I love that you took pictures while doing ordinary stuff....that makes it extraordinary. :)
Seeing the mexican food makes me hungry...I am thinking taco's now.
I never worry about losing followers...in my case, most of my followers don't even read my blog. For real.
I seem to have the same readers each week and I notice when I have less comments...but not followers.
So chin up...blog for yourself.
ps. those manaquins flip me out too. So weird. :0
Oooh, I love Old Navy! Isn't it weird how we get attached to that number? Even though we probably don't know who they are, b/c they're lurkers or something, but still...
Hope you're feeling better about that situation you had going on...
