Now that school is out, dance is over, and we have a little more time to ourselves during the day, I've actually found a few minutes for crafting. It doesn't hurt that we've been stuck inside due to all of the rain. But really, I'd trade my crafting in for some sunny days. Sun, come back!
Anyway.
After Kam's camp trailer shirt success, Sierra needed a top to call her own.
This is what we came up with:
I started with a tank from Old Navy and my favorite craft supply, felt :)
I cut a few circles, sewed on a bead here and there.
Added some leaves . . .
And finished it off with some decorative stitching.
Sierra loves it. And I do too. Now Makenna wants one ~ though she wants ladybugs instead of flowers {or was it a butterfly? I'm not sure, she keeps changing her mind ;)} Back to the craft room ;)

This is adorable. So, did you sew them on to the T or glue???
So clever....makes me a little green. :)
CUTE! I didn't realize felt would wash well. Do you have to do anything special?
So cute! I love it!

Cute top! Thanks for stopping by today!
Seriously girl, that is the cutest thing! I totally need to make something like that...now I need to think three shirts that are cool, two girl, one boy. :) How about coming up with a cool (and super easy) tractor design for me?? ;)
Love this shirt and LOVE those embelishments! Great job! I'd love for you to link this up at sundae scoop http://iheartnaptime.blogspot.com/

such a simple idea to jazz up a great top! New follower :-)
I love this! Such a great way to spice up the tanks you can pick up for $2!
This is so cute! I have been adding embelishments to my girls clothes whenever they get a small stain that I can't get out on something I can't bare to get rid of.
I will have to try this design I love it!
I turned out great! I love it. What type of scissors do you use for cutting felt. I seem to rip the felt anytime I cut it. Maybe b/c I'm left handed? Not sure.
So cute! I actually came across this on a Turkish craft blog that links to me frequently, marifet.org
I'd just love it if you would drop by my international linking party, Sunday thru Tues, and link to this and more if you'd like! Hope to see you there!
