Checking In

Wow. Summer is busy! Whoever came up with "lazy Summer days" was sadly mistaken.
So, a quick check in before we head out for a week of camping fun ;)
First, we had a fabulous 4th. It was nice, quiet, and fairly relaxing. We went to church, came home so that Kam could take a snooze, and then headed to my mom and dad's for dinner and a few fireworks.

Kam enjoyed dinner. A lot.

And for dessert? Cookies. Sierra and Makenna decorated them all by themselves.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I only have about a million more trips out to the trailer before we're ready to go camping, so that's good.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If I can get my act together {that's a BIG "if"}, I may schedule a post or two while I'm away. If not, I'll see y'all next week. And now, I'm off to go read some of my favorite blogs. I've missed you guys.

Is Kam eating Carrots? Gasp! How do you get her to do that? My kids seriously need to take some eating pointers from your girls.

The cookies are beautiful!

The girls did such a great job decorating those cookies:) I hope you have a great camping trip! I'm guessing it is not nearly as hot up there as it is here...we have been inside all day avoiding the heat!

Way cute pictures. I was looking around on your blog, and just LOVE how talented you are at taking pictures. I'm learning right now :) Trying to figure out all the settings on my camera. I never knew how much there is to learn about photography. There's a whole lot more to it than just taking pictures :)
Anyway, I'm new here. Now a follower! I look forward to getting to know you better!

I hope you enjoy your camping trip as much as I've enjoyed the two we've taken in the past week! Summer is definitely busy but I'm glad you were able to check in.
