Rambles ~ That's What I Do Best

I feel a little out of the blogging loop these days, and sometimes it makes me wonder if I even have time for it anymore. But then I think about how many {wonderful} friends I've made, and how much I enjoy having a place of my very own. And that makes me want to stay.

I find myself stressing out a little when I'm "absent", and that takes some of the fun out of it. Plus, I have a hard time getting back into the groove after I've been gone a few days. {Anyone else have this problem?}. And let's not forget all the Summer fun we've been having. That, alone, leaves little time for the computer, don'tcha know. {Oh yeah, and did I mention my laptop is currently dying a slow death, making it almost impossible to use? Sigh.}

Anyway. A quick update, and then I have to get back to real life. I may or may not still be in my robe right now, ahem, at 1pm. I frosted my hair this morning {yes, I use a cap and hook. Yes, I do know that it is no longer 1987}, and, oh my, it has taken hours.

Now that I think about it, there's not much to update, ha! We've been outside, running through sprinklers, going for drives, working { a little } on the house ~ we're kind of at a standstill for the next week. That about sums it up. Windows were installed this week, and that was pretty exciting. Toward the end of next week we will install the woodstove pipe, and then roofing will begin. Yahoo!

If any of y'all are still with me, and I haven't yet bored you to tears, then Congratulations! You are true friends.

Can't wait to hear what y'all have been up to!

I may or may not have stayed in my PJ's past 1pm almost every day this week. LOL
Don't stress out about anything.

I am so with you on the love of PJ's I try to stay in mine as long as possible each day. I say it makes me a better person.
I totally understand what you mean about blogging being a little stressful. I sometimes think about all the time I am on the computer either posting, reading posts or commenting on posts and I think what else could I be doing. Then I think mommy needs some sort of stress releaser.
I also blog as a journal of our life, that is why we print out our blog each year into a book. So that alone will keep me blogging as someday my kids will be able to see the recipes, activities, trips and daily life from their childhood.
Now speaking of rambling I best get off her.
Have a fabulous weekend!

I know what you mean. After the move, we were without the internet for a week and I felt completely out of the loop. When it was finally set up, I wanted to blog but for some reason I didn't really feel like it. I jumped back in and feel caught up again.

Congrats on the house! Can't wait to see pics!

I totally relate to how you feel about blogging...I've been out of the groove for quite some time and am slowly getting back into it...but it's hard when we are out and about living our busy lives!

Windows! The house is sure coming along!

I know what you mean about blogging. I feel like I really have nothing to add to the blogging world.

I get in blogging ruts too, but then I realize I am doing this to make a "scrapbook" for my children, and I get back on track. Not that you need any more guilt ;)

Well, obviously you know I'm not the best at updating my blog, but I do it when I can and enjoy the friendships made through it. Life comes before blogging, but when you have time, I love reading yours. :)

I was looking through the etsy stuff and it made me think of you, so I hopped over to your blog. :)
