. . . When you try your hardest to get photos of your little ones {for Christmas Cards}
. . . and one of the littles just happens to be {almost} 21 months old, and wants NOTHING to do with the camera?
About a half million pics just.like.this.
Sigh.

Well, their outfits are cute! Did you ever get any good ones? I remember having to do pictures with Abby on 3 separate occasions to get a good one. LOL!
That is so funny because the other girls are smiling so well. I hope you get a picture soon...poor Mommy.
Oy I have so many pics like that with Layla not cooperating!
Aw she's still gorgeous whether she's sad or mad lol. I hope you get a great shot soon...the big girls have great smiles!
Oh my gosh...even with the unhappy face these are great photos!!!!
Yes, it's rare for all three of my kids to be looking at the camera at the same time with smiles! Keep trying you'll get a perfect shot!
When M was almost 2....it was our best Christmas Card. You may remember I used it as my header for quite a while.
Laughing, but feeling bad. It's that always how it is! I need to get mine taken soon.
Ha! Were you reading my blog last Christmas? The picture I ended up choosing was of all 3 girls looking away from the camera *(at a dog) and added the caption "Do you see what I see?" to the top. We do what we have to do. :D One year I took individual pictures and did them all next to each other. :D
Awe, precious none the less!! I think they are adorable. Your two oldest girls look SOOOO much alike! It's hard to get one kiddo to cooperate for a pic, let alone three!
Been there, done that! Poor Kam...she is still adorable as well as your other two! You'll get one soon I bet.
Love the outfits!
Ha! 2 year olds are so much fun!
This is why my husband takes all our pictures! That, and I cut everyone's heads off! They are cute kiddos though, and that counts, right!?
I love the outfits. we have the same problem with taking picture. THe only difference it that it is my 4 year old who fusses and makes problems whenever I or her father take a picture. For anyone else she is all smiles.
It's still a precious picture and you'll love having it in the years to come so you can remember this stage well :) I'm nervous now, though! I remember saying to my husband last year when we were done at the portrait studio that next year would be so much easier. Noah always loved having his pictures taken and never gave me any problems but Noelle is a whole other story! She's not much different about someone else taking her picture even a year later so I'm afraid we're going to be in the same boat. Maybe I'll take your cue and try to capture them myself :) I just ordered their Christmas PJs last night so I'm almost ready for the posed pictures!
I've been there before too! I thinkt he first one is cute even if Kam isn't smiling:) At least you still have a few months before Christmas to try again!
Love the outfits. But I totally understand about the hard moments of capturing a great or even a good photo. I can't wait till Trey gets his two front teeth in so that maybe he can smile halfway normal in a photo. Keep trying you still have a few months left.
I'm seriously thinking that I am going to do a card with outtakes one year! We go through the same thing! :)
Oh, I do know what you mean! Good luck when you "Take Two"!
On a side note, is your oldest wearing a velvet dress from Hanna Anderson? The only reason I ask is it looks just like a violet colored one my daughter has:-), and I love it!
Even though it wasn't the picture you wanted, the girls do all look precious:-).
