More Myself

I'm finally feeling a little more like myself.  Not really sure who I was feeling like before, but I didn't like her all that much.  I think her name was Debbie.  {As in Downer}.  Anyway.  I'm actually enjoying everyday activities again.  My poor camera {that once used to hang around my neck all day every day} was getting ZERO attention {except for photo shoots}.  Case in point: Thanksgiving.  I did not snap one photo.  Um, yeah.  Taylor's first Thanksgiving, and I have no captured memories from it.  Real nice.  But, I've started picking up my camera again.  I've missed it.  Also, I was seriously concerned that I wasn't going to find an ounce of enjoyment in the holidays this year.  But, we've decorated the house, and are talking about picking out a tree, and I truly am looking forward to counting down the days until Christmas.

Speaking of, I'm trying to decide if I'm going to do Countdown to Christmas again this year {see my fancy schmancy button to the left?}.  I will definitely try to blog all our activities {we still will be counting down, mind you}, but not sure if I'll do a link up or not.  I'm debating.

Familynight2

Last night Jeremy got home from hunting and surprised us with an outing to McDonald's for ice cream treats.

Familynight

What can I say, ice cream almost always improves one's mood.  And now, I'm going to go make PW's Cinnamon Rolls.  Don't judge.

Ice cream always makes me feel better too! And yummo! I have been wanting to make PW cinnamon rolls forever! I think I need to put it on our list of advent activities!

I have always wanted to try PW's cinnamon rolls! I could use a few of those right now.

I'm so glad you are feeling better.

I'll do the link up with you, if you do it.

I'm so happy you're feeling more like yourself!!! It is such a burden to feel depressed, or even just 'not right' during the holidays!!! My moods flip flop a lot during this time of year, too.

There isn't a whole lot that ice cream can't fix, is there? However, it is FREEZING outside, so I'm hoping my troubles stay away until spring. ;o)

Maybe you guys just need to hop in the car and drive down here. It's only 20 hours. :) But it's 78 degrees and sunny today. It certainly helped my mood!:) Well, that and my peppermint oreos with coffee and peppermint mocha creamer :) mmm!!

Just have everyone sit at the table like it's thanksgiving and snap a pic. I "restage" all the time:)

Oh man. I'm in a funk for sure. Well, I don't know if it's a funk or just a general IRRITATED WITH THE WORLD sort of thing. And I went and promised giveaways every day this week on my blog...which means I have to get my camera and take pictures of what I'm giving away. And then post them. And I don't wanna. Cuz I'm in a funk!

I can really relate to you not picking up your camera once for Thanksgiving. Sometimes it almost feels like I resent my camera, I'm getting through it though :) I'm hoping it's only a stage! :)

I'm so glad your feeling better! Debbie has to make an appearance in everyone, sometimes!

I'm glad you're feeling better. Maybe it was a little leftover pregnancy hormones working their way out?

I have wanted to try PW's cinnamon rolls too, but I have heard they are a chore to make.

Well now those cinnamon rolls will surely hit the spot and cheer you up :) Have fun with your girls and the countdown...I need to think of some things for us as well. Hugs!!!

Glad you're feeling more like you again. I went crazy for a few weeks myself, so glad to be out of the first trimester. I was thinking to myself "How do people that feel this way live??" and "I hope this doesn't mean I'm going to have a hard time post-natal."
