Let's Flamingle!

Miss Tay has decided that Flamingoes are a new favorite, 

which pretty much sealed the deal for a 

Flamingo "6th" Birthday Party.

That was fine by me!

I have loved Flamingoes since I was a little girl myself.

It was just a tiny, little family party,

but that suited us just fine.

We decorated, and made yummy treats just the same.

Tay loved these little pineapple pops.

I used marshmallows instead of cake, and they held their shape great!

And for the pink pops, I used brownies ~ Makenna's favorite.

Wishes were made,

candles were blown,

Gifts were unwrapped.

And my littlest baby girl is now six years old :(

I need time to slow down!

Kam's Party

 I still can't quite the grasp the fact that my little Kam is 5 years old!

We had such a nice gathering for her big day.

Kam requested her own special "tiny" cake,
complete with pink frosting.

The rest of us peasants made do with cupcakes in a jar.

 

It was so sweet to watch her open her presents.
She was gracious enough to let baby sis get right in there.
And Tay was great too!
She got right in on the action, but didn't once touch a present.

 

Kam's photo book didn't arrive in time for her party, so we hung photos of
Little Miss everywhere.  From the ceiling, windows, and penant.

And to top it all off, a visit from a sweet cousin-friend.
 

 

 

 

 

 Loves, laughs, and memories.
It doesn't really get much better than that!

Celebrations

We had such a fun birthday weekend!

 

We partied with family on Sunday, the day before Sierra's birthday. 

 

 

A little cake, ice cream, and presents.
 

 

 

And lots of time spent with family.
 

 

On Monday, we got ready for a sleepover with friends.
First stop: Pizza pick-up
 

Then back home to dress for our pageant party :)
 

Crowns, Sashes, Evening Gowns, and about a million old pageants recorded on VHS. 
What fun!
