A Howlin' Good Time!

We had a fabulous time at The Great Wolf Lodge this week.

Tuesday we got a {late} start, and arrived in Grand Mound, Washington

right before dinner time.

We threw our luggage in our room, put on our suits, and ran to the elevator!

Even Kam had a great time! Though she wouldn't let you put even one of her toes in the water. No, she preferred people watching. And the 84 degree temps.

We have the greatest time with Grandma!

We even found an extra few minutes, after dragging the girls out of the water, for crafts at the Cub Club. So much fun! They made sand art AND their own lotion. They got to pick their scent, add pretty sparkles, and even name it!

We had a fabulous mini-getaway! Thanks Geri/Grandma for another wonderful girls-only trip! We always have so much fun together!!!

Which Way to the Beach???

What a wonderful beach trip! I am glad to be home and finally have everything put away, and the laundry caught up. {Can someone just tell me how laundry multiplies so fast??? I did three loads in the less than 48 hours we were at the beach, and still managed to be inundated with laundry when we got home. It's a mystery to me.}

So, I promised beach pictures, and I am going to deliver. Unfortunately there are no pics of little toes in the sand. I know, I know, what kind of mother am I??? Really though, the weather was not as delightful as we would have liked, and it's a wonder we even made it down to the beach the first day with all the wind and rain. You'll see . . .

Brrrrrr, right??

But then, the sun broke through a little, and the wind died down . . .

We grabbed a quick photo . . . or fifty

We celebrated a birthday . . .

Rode the Carousel . . .

Filled our tummies . . .

Boogied down on the sand . . .

And headed for home . . .

Yeah, I would say it was a pretty great trip.

Sunny Days Are Here Again!

We got out in the sun yesterday, and it was just what we needed! Amazing how a few rays can do wonders for your mood. Don't talk to me about how it's supposed to start raining again tomorrow, nope I'm not listening, (hmmm hmmmm hmmmmm hmmmmm, I can't hear you!). Let me just enjoy it :)
