Pampered & Parties

I love having girls. Love it. I love the dressing up, the beauty shop-play, the shopping trips, sundresses and sandals, hair-fixin', and spa days. Yes, spa days. We have them frequently around here. And we don't have to go any further than our own bathroom. Whenever we have a special outing planned we have spa day. This consists of foot soaks, pedicures, manicures, hair curling. You know, the works. It's so much fun.

Yesterday was one of our treasured spa days. We had a surprise party to attend, and had to look our best ;)

Kenners reading her "magazine" while her toesies dry.

And yes, those are her shades from the dentist.

Next we have Sierra's freshly painted toes.

And nails.

After the pampering, off to the party we went!

Holy Moly there were a lot of children there. It was such fun to see them all running around enjoying each other. Most of them didn't even know one another, but that didn't stop them! They buddied up and partied down :) And my goodness, there were so many little girls. Of course, Sierra was President of the "Girl Power" movement. Oh dear.

I love days like yesterday. Full of special memories.

What memories did y'all make?

Wow, that is a fancy french manicure on a little girl! Actually I'm suprised I know what kind of manicure that is (I am right aren't I?) seeing as how I've NEVER had a manicure!

Looks like the girls had a blast. What did I do? Hmmmm...Probably something to do with mud, baseballs, and bugs. Hahaha

I love it! That is the one thing I really miss about having boys! Wow, impressive salon-like French manicure! They are such dolls. What a fun mom you are!

We spent the weekend 4 hours away watching our school make it all the way to state playoffs! Very exciting, except for the fact that I have a sinus infection!!!

Too fun! Abby likes her nails painted, but would never let me take the time to do a french manicure! Heck, I can barely do all 10 nails.

Yesterday night, we had my nephew Matthew over for the kids first sleepover together. We took him to TRU and out to an early dinner. Dave put a tent up for them to play in and they had so much fun. Unfortunately, at 3 a.m. Abby woke up vomitting :(

I so hope Matthew doesn't get it. It only lasted about about 8 hours and she was able to keep down her homemade chicken soup and water tonight.

I love having girls too. So much fun being pampered and having your nails done. They look beautiful. Girl parties are so fun too. What cuties you have.

I wish I lived closer, because I would so join you and your girlies for spa day. You know, because my boys don't do manicures and pedicure:) Sounds like such a great way to spend the day!

So cute- I used to do this when my little girl was younger- now we just go and have pedicures done at the spa and gab together- it reminds me how fast she is growing up!!!

Such sweet memories!! My little girl used to do those girly things with me... at age 9 ... well it started at 7 1/2... she no longer wears nail polish??!! WHAT! crazy how they change! and her girly dresses are now funky skirts and cute leggings... with fun knee high socks... she has her own style... I love it... I do hope she goes back to painting nails again!! =)

Aw, how fun! I want girls. Love my boys, but they totally wouldn't go for a spa day, unless it included dinosaurs somehow. Hmmm... Glad to see you enjoying your babies!
