Rain, Rain, Go Away

I'm starting to feel like a big whiner.
I'm trying so hard to change my attitude, but I seriously think I have that condition where weather dramatically affects my mood.
What is that called?
Anyway.
We had the wettest March in, like, 13 years. And I know that April is just getting started, but if the last few days are any indication? We'll be setting some records for this month too :(

This has pretty much been our view for the last, oh, 7 months:

Dreary

In other {happier} news:

We had a sleepover last weekend :)

Grandma came to stay, and the girls were DELIGHTED!

Kam ran around screeching and dancing for at least the first half hour.

Sleepover2

Then we settled in our sleeping bags, turned on "Tangled", and enjoyed our evening.

Sleepover1

Even Hannah and Meagan {American Girl Dolls} had their own cuddly spot ;)

girl, you know i'm right there with you with the weather thing- called seasonal depression, i would know. :) it rained here too, but i'm just glad it is above 50 degrees. i'm trying to get thru this rainy season with lots of spring crafts (i prefer crafting over pretending to be ariel all.the.time.)

the sleepover looks like a lot of fun! (and i was obsessed with american girl dolls when i was little.)

The weather really effects my mood too. Although it's the rain that usually ups my spirits! I know...I'm weird!

How fun for the sleepover! We just bought Tangled too and I love that movie...so does Evan! ha!

Oh my...I JUST had that same conversation about the weather and mood and say "what's that called?" We've had a ton of rain and snow too and it's old. It rained all day today. Sigh. Anyways...that's sleepover looks like a ton of fun.

It's called SAD: Seasonal Affective Disorder. I would feel like crud too if it rained everyday for 7 months!

We've had our rainy and gloomy days, but every now and then there's been a few nice ones in the mix.

How fun for Grandma to have a sleepover!

I am SOOOOOOOOOO tired of the rain.
I always know that even though I love Fall and look forward to it that it's the gateway to RAIN. :(

Yup, Jenny's right. It's Seasonal Affective Disorder. You need to get some bright lamps and sit under them for a while.

You should also move to my town. We have your perfect weather here right now. Highs are in the 80's. Just load that house up on a big trolly type thingy and come on!

Cute cute pics!! Hope you're rain goes away soon! You can send some to OK. We've been having ridiculous wind and low rain, which leads to wild fires. BOO.

I think it's called SAD...seasonal affective disorder. I feel that way too when I don't get enough sunshine! Hope you get some sunshine soon!
