Last Friday I had {another} doctor's appointment. I've reached the weekly appointment stage. In some ways I can't believe that we're at the end of the pregnancy. And in other ways . . . well, I've affectionately named this the pregnancy that never ends ;) Kam was born just shy of 35 weeks, so it just seems that our newest little one should be here already!
Anyway ~ my doctor's appointment. I weighed in, sigh. And since I'm being honest here, I'm just going to share that I've gained nearly 40 pounds. ACK! I'm just not one of those women that gains 20 pounds during pregnancy. I gained 42 with Sierra, 37 with Kenners, and 34 with Kam {but remember, she was 5 1/2 weeks early}. I'm not cute pregnant, by the way. Nope. And I'm retaining quite a bit of water . . . pretty.
{warning: there may be times of overshare today.}
As soon as my midwife came in I jokingly asked when we could induce ;) And, YAY, she said that they would go ahead and schedule an induction by the 25th as long as I had already started "making progress". So then, of course, I worried that I won't have made any progress. I needn't have worried, though. She did a quick check, and I am almost 3cm and baby is at -1 station. I realize that's not any big deal, BUT, it does mean that even if nothing changes, I will still have a new baby girl by the end of June. We're pretty happy about that :)

And in other baby news . . . we're still hemming and hawing over a name. I have my favorite and Jeremy has his. And we're still trying to come to an "agreement".

That's all I got.

Can't wait to hear the name! : ) I'm wishing you luck as you hang on till the end.
Macey is a really cute name. ;)
Okay, 3 cm and 1 station is AWESOME! I bet you go before you're induced.
That is so exciting, a new baby in just a few weeks! And you have only gained 40 pounds, I think that is pretty good considering I always gain 60! Hang in there Mama, she will be here before you know it!
How exciting!! She's almost here!
YOu might have to pull a name out of a hat. Or let us vote. :)
Oh a new baby... how wonderful!!
I gained 40 w/both Jakob and Nolan and I hated EVERY.SINGLE.POUND. I so hear ya on not being the cute pregnant. I was just fat. Or so I thought anyways.
Yay for a due date!!!
Liz, the only reason you gain forty pounds is because you are so skinny when you get pregnant!! I am normal sized so I don't need to gain as much :)
I bet you look cute!
I'm so excited that you are progressing! I can't wait to see this baby AND find out her name.
I'm sure you're super cute! I can't wait for you to have her!!! SO EXCITING!!!! EEEK!! :) What if you combined your two favorites into one?? ;) Or how about you do all the labor and pushing and then pull the "I just did all the work" card?? :D
Holy cow, that came fast!! SO excited for you! Can't wait to hear the name you agree on. :)
3 cms is awesome!! I swear that Evening Primrose Oil works like a charm too...in case you want some more "help". ;)
Oh, I so feel you...I gained around 40 with each of mine, and felt like a whale. Oh well, the little stinkers are totally worth it. Can't wait to see pictures of the little one. My midwife let me induce with my 3rd, and it was by far the fastest and easiest. :) Hoping for a great L&D for you!!
I gained 40/40/35/35 - but I still had 10 lbs from #3 when I got pregnant with #4 :) And yeah - I'm not a pretty pregnant - think manatee, that's me.
I guess our hospitals must really book up around here, because they scheduled me FOUR MONTHS ahead of time for 38 wks with 2&3, and 37 weeks with 4.
It'll be soon, hang in there!!!
She's almost here! I can't wait to hear the name you pick! Don't worry about the weight...I'm sure you will lose it in no time! I stopped keeping track of my weight gain with Eli because I just didn't want to know!
YAY for you on progressing as far as you have already! I never, ever progress until I literally just go into labor. And, ironically, my labors did not get shorter with each one, they got longer--LOL!
I hope your labor is a wonderful one! I know you are so ready to hold your sweet baby girl! Prayers for a healthy delivery, baby and recovery for you both, Liz!
Not much longer Mama....so glad things are going well. Well, you know, I mean you are healthy, the baby is healthy. IT will be over soon and she will be with you in PERSON. Well, you know what i mean. :)
Names smames. Is it ever easy??? nah.....
Keep us updated.

Oh my gosh, you're already a 3! Wow, hopefully you'll get there soon. This feels like the pregnancy that never ends for me too, and I'll be 32 weeks on Tuesday. I wish my baby was coming this month!
We still can't decide on a name either. :)
