Day 11 was a nice, quiet day spent at home.
The girls were surprised with a couple of new books.
But I think their most favorite part was playing at the desk.
Grandma's 10-key was a HUGE hit, lol!
I'm pretty much done with their shopping, but I'm tempted to buy a 10-key
simply because it kept them so entertained ;)
Today we are headed to the theater to see Frozen.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Taylor makes it through at least a portion of it! :)

I hope Taylor enjoyed the movie. We all loved it. It's cute and I love the message of it.
I've decided that next year I'm going to try to do this, too. It's be more difficult since Lexie's in school, but I'm sure there is plenty we can plan for each day of December that doesn't have to be done in the daytime! {This time of year, the sun sets here around 3:30, so it's dark by the time she gets home!}
What a sweet tradition! The girls are just as lovely as ever. Funny about the 10 key. My MIL uses a typewriter to make her invoices and the girls LOVE playing with it. She just sold her house and is retiring….guess how got the typewriter???
I have a feeling you could find a 10 key at a thrift store for them. :)
I think I would still have fun playing with a 10-key! As a child I totally totally wanted a real working cash register. I almost saved up my money from being a newspaper girl to get one, so yes I still wanted one when I was like 12. Ironically I only worked in retail once, as a hostess at a restaurant and the cash register was so cheap it wouldn't even tell you the correct change to give people.
