Woah.
Once Memorial Day hit it was like: ready, set, Summer!
Try as I might, it's a struggle to keep up with all of the photos!
A little snapshot of our week: Yesterday was Taylor's 4th birthday. Jeremy was at work, so trying to convince a four year old to "wait until Daddy gets home" the following day to open presents . . . not pretty. The whole day was somewhat miserable, if I'm going to be honest. Tay woke up grumpy which led to others catching the grump bug. And as much as I love birthdays {or most traditions at all, really}, they can be hard, y'all. I'm just going to put this out there . . . I have never had a four year old and not had a younger child in the house. I have never had a four year old who is the baby. To say that it makes me sad is the understatement of the year.
Ahhhhh, but anyway. Our week.
Today is my birthday.
But we're just going to forget about that because when you are over thirty you do not have birthdays anymore ;)
My niece is coming to spend the weekend with the girls.
There may or may not be a Cupcake Wars planned.
Tomorrow is Taylor's party. Sunday is Father's Day.
And because Jeremy works on Father's Day this year, we are going to be celebrating with a barbecue on Monday.
Tuesday I have a photo session at our dental office. Wednesday we are wedding gift shopping!
And then it's time to pack, and head down to Medford again for another wedding!
Eeeek!
And that's how it's been since May.
Always on the go!

Always on the go!
A couple of weeks ago we got to spend a couple of days at the beach, and we had such fun!
On the way back from dinner one night, we found a gorgeous spot to just stare out over the ocean.
Day 2 on the beach was WINDY.
We only made it about a half hour before we couldn't take it any longer, and had to haul our windblown selves back to the lodge.
Then it was pretty much a snooze-fest . . .
until it was time to head home.
What a wonderfully welcome change from the typically overcast, cool, and sometimes rainy days that June can bring!
and more barbecues!
