I'm feeling a little overwhelmed these days. And I hate that. I like to be on top of everything, and lately I feel lucky if I've gotten the basics accomplished. All these things on my To-Do list, and I never seem to be able to scratch that last one {
or fifty} off. Anyone else ever feel this way? I'll have a great day when I feel like the house is basically in order, the cleaning is pretty well caught up, and I have a sense of accomplishment. But for the most part, this last month has been me running around like a mad-woman, baby on hip at all times {because did I mention Kam doesn't
ever want to be put down?}, and feeling like I'm not making any progress.
Oh well. Feel free to tune me out. I'm just being a whiner. {But, whew, that did feel good to get off my chest!}
So, on to the happy . . .
My oldest baby girl celebrated a birthday last week.
She turned 7 years old one week ago today, to be exact.
And I think it's safe to say that we all had a GREAT day!

Hang in there busy lady! :) I can't believe how big your baby girl is getting! Enjoy her! My youngest has sprouted two heads and is making me crazy at 21 months - ugh. Happy birthday to your oldest girl!
Oh WOW, I could have written this post! I am very overwhelmed, and we started school on Monday, so that just adds too it!
I hope things slow down for you soon!
What a lovely photo there at the end! I felt that way for most of August and have now gotten into a routine that works.
Having 2 of the 4 in school all day doesn't hurt either. Hugs to you...we have all been there.
What a fun birthday cake!! You take such great pictures too! What camera do you shoot with?

Happy 7th birthday! It looks like it was such a fun birthday.
Hopefully things calm down for you soon.
I know the baby on hip feeling. Oh, do I know it well.
Hope things slow down for you!
She is beautiful and I love that dress she is wearing. I too like to be on top of things...I feel out of sorts this summer. Crazy.
Vent away my girl!
Glad your older baby's birthday was a hit.
