Today I'm linking up to the first ever Momentous Monday at A Moment Cherished. Tiffany came up with Momentous Monday as a way to cherish the every day moments. I LOVE this idea!
This week, one of many cherished moments for me was watching Makenna's first ever soccer game. Seeing Makenna out there on the field working together with others toward a common goal, playing kindly, and so proud of herself for her efforts, brought tears to my eyes.
Makenna does not like confrontation of any sort, so asking her to get in the middle of a crowd of children and "steal" a ball away is foreign to her ;) But she did get a couple of kicks in there, and we couldn't have been more proud. It was a momentous week, indeed.
I'd love to hear about your special moments this week. Write a post of your own, or share a special picture, and head over to A Moment Cherished to link up and share in others' joy.

Look how cute they are in their uniform shirts hanging down to their knees! Awwww!
I love that Makenna is wearing pink under her orange. :D
Oh what a sweet moment, and a perfect photo to go with it! This must have been so neat to see as a Mommy! Thank you for sharing and for joining Momentous Monday!
I went this past weekend and watched my nephew's (he is 4) first soccer practice. So cute!
Aww- what a sweet moment to Cherish- just wait until she is 9 and talking about heading the ball to cause the other team to take a penalty? Huh?? It is like a foreign language to me but she loves it!

Oh I love their first games. So cute and so entertaining. Adorable picture.
Adorable! That is so cute that she has trouble "stealing" away the ball.
There is nothing cuter than a bunch of small children playing soccer!!! Cole and Bella just started up with soccer again and they are so much fun to watch!
Bella had a hard time at first with all the confrontation of it all but she's doing much better now! McKenna will get the hang of it!
So sweet ! Our little soccer player started off so shy and a little scared of getting kicked or slammed? Six seasons in her confidence is so high! She has great skills and loves the game now! The first two seasons I thought... will she make it? ;) each season they grow a little more! ;)
So so cute!
Don't you love soccer! And the littler the kids are the cuter they are running around the field chasing the ball!
Nothing cuter than a pack of pint-sized ones running around a field with a ball together :) and WHY they can't get smaller t-shirts for the little kids is beyond me. Even at 8 Evie's small is huge! Lol!
So sweet! I'm excited for my kids to start sports.
Wow this is a great post. I love the idea of stopping and cherishing the little moments. Love the photos of the little ones in the uniforms.
Have a fabulous day!
The pee wee soccer is so fun!
Thanks for stopping by and seeing me too.
