Tree Time

We got our Christmas tree over the weekend. I don't know about you all, but the Christmas season doesn't seem to officially start for us until the tree is up.

Saturday morning we headed up to my in-laws to find the perfect tree.

Tree3

I like this one for our room, Dad.

Tree4

Okay, stand back.

Tree5

Look Mama, I can carry it myself.

Tree6

C'mon Kenners, let's take it to the truck.

Tree7

We finally chose our tree . . .

Tree8

. . . and it was time to head home.

Tree9

But not before snappin' a few more photos {mostly to prove that Kam was, indeed, with us}.

Hopefully y'all had an equally special weekend.

Oooh, lucky girl gets her own fresh tree! WOW!!!

We need to get our tree, but looking at the calendar it might not be until the 18th! I don't usually like to wait that long, but it just seems to be working out that way this year.

Love the little chainsaw, we may have to hunt one of those down before we head to the tree farm!

Your inlaws have a Christmas tree farm?

I love that you put a tree in their room. I'm not motivated enough for all that work.

Look at her carrying the tree!!! Those trees are absolutely gorgeous. I can't get a real tree because I'm allergic, but I do love them.

How fun! I love that you get to go cut down your own tree:) We actually live next door to a Christmas tree farm, but they're not the kind of trees that I like so we get ours from a tree lot.

Priceless pictures of the girls!! What a fun treat to be able to cut down your own tree :) Tell the girls you can't do that in FL, ha!

Can we discuss for a second just how grown up miss Sierra is looking?!! Oh my word!
This is the first year we have put a tree in the playroom and the girls love it! I'm not sure why we didn't do it sooner.
I hope you had a blast decorating it!

Very cool! Kind of makes me want to take our our chainsaw out and cut one down! Except I can't use the chainsaw, because my husband thinks I'll cut one of MY limbs off.
You have to show a pic of it decorated in their room!

I REALLY love this!! I want to go and cut my own Christmas tree! I told Michael that next year, since the house will be finished, I want a tree in every room...some real, some fake.

Great pictures!!♥
