When Daddy's Away . . .

A few weeks ago Jeremy went on a quick hunting trip, so Sierra, Kenners, and I planned a "girls night" while he was away. We popped popcorn, watched movies, {ate a little chocolate} and, most importantly, camped out on our living room floor. The girls thought that was the greatest.

You'd have thought I told them we were headed to Disneyland, they were so excited. And we had a great time. Possibly a little less sleep than normal, but it was fun.

Now they want to do it all.the.time. After all, Jeremy is at the station every third night. After a LOT of persuasion, I was talked into it again.

My boys love camping in the living room especially in the winter so we can make smores using our fireplace! Fun times!

Looks like you all had a blast!

I can't wait to do that when the kids are a little bigger. It's kind of funny...just realized our husbands have the same name (although mine goes by his middle name), and occupation, and hobby (hunting). Fun! :)

Sounds like so much fun! A great and expensive way to do family time. I can't wait till Audrey is old enough to want to do that, thanks for sharing!

That is the sweetest thing :) Did the baby sleep all night with you all? I'm too much of a stickler for routine to do that lol! Although Daddy's planning on tent camping in the back yard VERY soon...
