Busy, Busy

It's been a busy week.  Kind of strange when an entire week just passes you right by and you're not sure where it went.

We celebrated my nephew's 18th birthday.  Holy moly, how is it possible that he's 18??  Fun story:  I was actually in the room when my sister gave birth to her first baby.  I was 13 years old, and after watching my sister in hard labor for several hours, I'm quite sure I said something along the lines of, What a miracle!  However, I will never be having any biological children of my own.  Adoption for me, thanks!
Funny how things change ;)

My little sis, Annie, and her two kiddos came up to celebrate with us!  Kam and Mona are just 5 months apart.

Taylor actually let someone besides Mama hold her!  She was passed around and around, and didn't fuss much at all.  Major breakthrough!

Harvest4

And we even found time to carve pumpkins.

I may be kind of quiet for a bit.  Having a hard time with a few things right now, and really want {NEED} to just turn it all over to God, but am finding difficulty relinquishing my control.  Sigh.  Just really feeling He wants me to do this right now:

Be still and know that I am God . . .  Psalm 46:10

I'll definitely check in on Friday for the Shutterfly Cards Giveaway.  Go enter, if you haven't yet!

It is funny how our plans end up changing over time.

I will be praying for you. I hope that whatever you are having to handle right now gets resolved. We'll miss you in the meantime!

I am sorry to hear you are having a difficult time but you are turning it over to exactly where it needs to be. If you need any specific prayer you let me know and I'm there! Looks like a busy, yet really fun week and how nice that Taylor shared her love :)

I think if I had witnessed a live birth at 13....I would have felt the same way!

Take care....I'll miss you!

Praying for you! Your kitchen looks pretty and homey if that makes you feel any better. : )

I'm in a similar boat so I can honestly say that I feel your pain. I will hold you up in prayer. I always think of Moses and how Aaron and Hur held his arms up so that they could defeat the Amalekites. Praying friends do just that for us. We hold each other up so we can be victorious.
Wish our trip was sooner...I could use some baby love. :)

Saying a prayer RIGHT NOW. Great pics. Love her little apron!

I loved your story at age 13. I always said I wouldn't do it either. And now I want TONS! lol

I also thought I would never 'have' children after helping my friend with her 27 hour labor. (I was 20)
Glad we forgot about that stuff. :)
Prayers for you my friend. I hope everything gets better.

I hope you're working things out. I hate it when I'm feeling like that, but it always ends good :)
Anyway, I love your pictures. You're very talented. I'm still trying to figure out how to take better pics myself.

Checking in on you, Liz. I will be praying for you to find peace and comfort with whatever you are struggling with right now. I think of you and your beautiful family often--odd, I know, because we don't know each other, but I do. I truly hope you find inner peace.

Sincere prayers and hugs from my heart to yours.
